The Festival brings to Dubrovnik some of the finest European early music ensembles. It offers a rare opportunity to hear music seldom performed, from the Medieval times and the Renaissance. This year’s programme will take us on a musical journey from the Middle Ages courts of Sweden to the Italian Renaissance, to the Netherlands of Rembrandt and the beautiful landscapes of ancient Dalmatia. Held in the unique Renaissance surroundings of the Rector’s Palace, the concerts will bring this stunning historic venue alive with sounds rising once again from Europe’s rich past.
