Music around Niccolò Machiavelli

Emotions: this is what Corona manages to produce with its non-dogmatic and humour-filled interpretations of music prior to 1600. Its passionate musicians use stringed instruments, voice, recorders, cornetto and percussion, and a good dose of improvisation, resulting in an imaginative style.

Their shows, which also include a combination of theatrical and narrative elements, guarantee to be a treat for the eye and ear, and to touch the heart of the audience as well.

APOLLO ENSEMBLE (Netherlands)

Baroque masters

The Apollo Ensemble, founded in 1992, plays on authentic instruments, which does not mean they play “museum music”; on the contrary they make the music alive and play with repertoires, colours, sounds and instruments. Apollo is the Greek Sun god who was surrounded by the muses, the goddesses of Art and Science: the Apollo Ensemble brings together art and science in all their projects. Most of all, they like to explore the boundaries of together and the interaction between individual musicians.
